All web containers (where you web pages are stored) have an index. That is your home page. You can create new web pages (subpages) for your website within your container and then link to that page from the index. One of these pages can be a "calendar" - where you can include homework, upcoming tests, field trips, etc. When your audience clicks on your calendar it will look something like this:

Step 1: Open Your Web Container You should see your "index" and any other files you have.
Step Two: From the MAIN MENU (at the top of your scrren choose: >FILE >NEW >NEW GROUP CALENDAR
Step Three: Choose Standard Group Calendar and Click OK.
Step Four: Name and Protect your Calendar 1. Right-Click on your calendar. 2. Choose "Get Info" (MAC) or "Properties" (PC). 3. Do the following:
Name: provide a link name for your calendar Subject: provide a title for your actual web page. Protected: check this box
4. When finished, click OK.
You may add dates / assignments to your calendar now but you first need to link the "homework calendar" to your homepage.
Step Five: Link the Calendar on your Index. Open your index and type the words you want to use to identify your calendar. This example: Homework Calendar. Highlight the words and click on the formatlink icon: 
When the Format Link dialog box appears, type the name you have given to the calendar page in the Target URL box.
Click OK.
Save your pages. Go to the web and check to see if you have set everything up correctly. If not, review the steps again. If you still have trouble contact your tech support person for assistance.
