More than 160 Lebanon residents attended the Annual Deliberative Session, 2/7/09 at LHS. Warrant Articles were presented and public discussion ensued concerning the proposed budget and Middle School project that will be voted on, on March 10th. |

5/13/09: Lebanon Junior High School receives full approval from NH State Board of Education Today, Wednesday, May 13 Superintendent Michael Harris, School Board Chair Laura Dykstra, and Lebanon Fire Chief, Chris Christopoulis met before the NH Hampshire State Board of Education in Concord to discuss the school district’s efforts to bring the Lebanon Junior High School into compliance with fire
and safety codes. Armed with documentation stating that all of the items have been addressed, the district representatives received the final approval from the State Board for the continued use of the junior high school for the next year. In addition, the State Board members commended the Lebanon district on its “outstanding work towards getting this work done”. With this final statement from the State Board, the district’s plans to consolidate its schools including the closures of Sacred Heart Public School and School Street School will continue. |
