Special Education Services
The Lebanon School District offers a full range of special education programs for students with disabilities, ages three to 21 years.
Special services may range from consultation with teachers, classroom support and resource rooms to full time special education classrooms.
Additional services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapies or counseling are provided if necessary to enable a student to benefit from instruction. In accord with state and federal law requiring education in the least restrictive environment, students are removed from the regular education environment only when the nature or severity of the disability is such that education in regular classes with the use of supplementary resources and services cannot be achieved satisfactorily.
