Family Service Challenge

Hello Lebanon Families!

As part of our ongoing effort to highlight and celebrate our Lebanon School District Vision of a Learner, we invite you to participate in our first-ever Family Service Challenge.

The challenge is simple: Before the month of October ends, perform one act of service with your family!

Lebanon School District Budget 2027-28

We are working hard to develop our budget proposals for the 2027-28 school year: one based on the identified needs of our district, and another that would be compliant with a tax cap, if voters approve one in Lebanon.

Please read the message below for more information on our budget development process, and how you can get involved.

The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling down, and the school year is in full swing. We are solidly into fall, and I hope you and your families are enjoying the season.

As I wrote in my last newsletter, we will spend this year highlighting the Lebanon School District Vision of a Learner, all of the ways our students embody this Vision, and how families and staff provide the support that makes it all possible. Over the next several months, we will take time to focus on each pillar of the Vision of a Learner separately.

For October and November, we will be recognizing students who are Responsible Local and Global Citizens!

Welcome Back to School

Good morning Lebanon School District Community,

I hope you all have enjoyed a terrific start to the year. These first few days have brought so much positive energy and enthusiasm to all of our schools, and I am so grateful to all our students, families, and staff for ushering in a year that promises to be full of learning and growth for all of us.

The beginning of a new school year also offers an opportunity to recommit to the Lebanon School District Vision of a Learner. This vision, which is embedded into everything we do, is rooted in four pillars and guides us to educate students who are:

Effective and Collaborative Communicators
Critical and Creative Thinkers
Responsible Local and Global Citizens
Empathetic and Resilient Individuals

In this second year of our Strategic Plan, we are focusing on highlighting these pillars. In this newsletter, and in communications from all four of our schools throughout this year, we will be celebrating all the ways our students embody this Vision, and how families and staff support our shared pursuit of these goals.

In partnership,

Amy Allen

Superintendent
